Palmond AI is an AI-powered conversation and learning app. This page explains what information we keep so the app can work, and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you enter when you sign up (such as your mobile number and name).
- The text of your conversations with the AI characters, and your app settings (such as parental controls).
- Audio you record for speech-to-text, used only to convert it into text. Your audio recording is not stored for keeping.
- Photos you send for homework correction, used only to read the text and answer that request.
- Basic technical information used to prevent abuse and calculate usage limits (such as your IP address and a hashed device identifier).
2. How we use your information
Your information is used only to provide the app's services: answering in conversations, reminders, learning, homework correction and parental controls. We do not sell your personal information to any organization or third party for advertising purposes.
3. Third-party services
For some features (such as reading the text in a homework photo), the content of that request may be sent to third-party AI services. Only the content needed to answer the request is sent.
4. Security
The app communicates with our servers over encrypted connections, and access to data is restricted. However, no system is completely free of risk.
5. Children and teenagers
The app may be used by children and teenagers. For this reason it includes "Parental Controls", where parents can set content appropriate to their child's age.
6. Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account from inside the app. When your account is deleted, your account information and conversations are erased.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The new version will be published on this page.
